Its Friday!

Happy Friday Y'all

I am so happy today is Friday. This has been the longest week since Ive been working 10hr days. With that in mind I am very excited about the weekend approaching. Its TAX FREE weekend so Kenny & I are might just have to embrace it. 

Tomorrow we are headed to 





Decided to do something fun before the next two weeks are crazy busy with calendar events. Looking forward to roller-coasters.

Accountable for my training

I've neglected my blog lately, and decided it was time to update. I am almost through with week 2 of training for the Baltimore Half-Marathon. I am still nervous about it, but more excited than anything. I cant wait to have this accomplishment added to my list.






I have also been working on a #plankchallenge, thanks to my #Twitter TIU Gals for helping me out with this. & Also a huge shout out to the Tone It Up Trainers for their continuous workouts, and motivating words. If you have not jumped on the TIU train get on it TODAY!!

Training for Half Marathon





Over the weekend I was inspired by my TIU sisters to start training for a Half Marathon I knew I wanted to complete one, just was not sure when I was going to. No Time like Now, Right?! I have been following Hal Higdon Training program for the Half Marathon and can say I love having something to follow that is a simple guideline. There is a Half Marathon in  Baltimore  Sat, Oct 13 that I plan on participating in. Glad I started now!! Happy Trails

Blog Beginner

After getting more involved with Twitter , My best-friend Holli & Tone It Up I decided its time to start a blog. Who needs the New York Times when you have this daily journal.HA 
On a serious note, I felt as if I started the blog I would feel more accountable if I did not check-in, post my journal of a better lifestyle. So here I am; Blogging. 
Here is a picture collage of 4 pictures taken over a period of a year. Last May, I started on the fitness journey & lost the goal in sight. the right and bottom left was roughly around Jan/Feb and bottom right was July. I am determined now more than ever to get eat Healthy, Clean & Running Again. 1/2 Marathon is in sight
